Film Synopsis
For Carrie Hicks, life has become a marathon. Carrie and Emma attempt to start again in the tiny Tennessee town of Nolensville with help from Carrie's Uncle Earl and his church-folk friends. But when Rodney comes looking for them, Carrie and Emma must find strength they never knew they had. Can they at last find peace? (With the gritty Southern feel of "The Apostle," the quirky small-town characters of "Lars and the Real Girl," and the heart of "The Spitfire Grill," "Why We Breathe" is a powerful story of community, faith, and redemption.
